Our Story

We began breeding family friendly dogs in 2000 with our first dog, a chocolate lab named Brindle.  Our initial love with Labradors was for their friendly demeanor & trainability.  Over the years however, despite our love of the Labrador breed itself, we grew weary of the ever present dog hair, especially as our human family grew in numbers from 2 to 5.  We began looking into low shed breed options and fell in love with the Aussiedoodle combination.

  The Australian Shepard and Poodle breeds have long been known for their intelligence, loyalty, trainability, and family friendly demeanor.  Combining the two seemed like a match made in heaven.  Since we are a small scale breeder and only have a few dogs living in our home at a time, we want the emphasis to be on quality puppies raised in a loving environment.  Quality over quantity. When not working with our dogs, we are busy running our family business Atkins Seed Service, farming on our 4th generation grain farm, and raising our three daughters.
